The full range of functionality is provided using API calls which customers can choose to call directly from their own applications or using the Shiji Enterprise Platform User Interface (UI).  Shiji Enterprise Platform uses a consistent user interface making it comfortable for users to interact with the product. Specific focus has been placed on reducing the cognitive load by ensuring information is intuitively and easily available from the screens as users interact with the product. The Shiji Enterprise Platform offers a dashboard landing page for all key business areas. Dashboards across the platform provide graphics to simplify complex data presentation. We allow users to engage better with your customers through these dashboards embedded in various modules of the application providing business context-based data, driven by dates and refined through elastic search or advanced filtering options.

How is this a Platform?

In the hotel industry, the central system has traditionally been considered the property management system (PMS). While the intention was good, in reality, most PMS solutions are focused on inventory control, invoicing, and check-in and check-out management. For a truly central system, additional technology systems need to be added-on, and in most cases, require "fixes" that need expensive integrations, support contracts and, often, large payments from all parties. So, we designed a platform. Technology is ever-evolving and we know hotels need different systems attached. Although we offer reputation management, spa management, payment solutions, and distribution solutions, our customers are free to bring their own solutions to the table and integrate them with ours.
